Institute of Risk and Insurance

Welcome to the Institute for Risk and Insurance. Our institute bundles the insurance-related research and teaching at the Faculty of Economics and Management. Teaching and research at our institute are characterized by a clear international orientation and the integration of numerous professional relations. In our research, we focus on the decision-making of buyers and sellers of insurance products. We strive for high quality research with relevance to the scientific community and practice. Our teaching combines an application-oriented and methodologically advanced education. Due to our affiliation with the House of Insurance (HoI) we maintain close contact with the Institute of Insurance and Financial Mathematics, the chair of Civil Law, Insurance Law and Private International Law and, in particular, with the insurance companies based in Hanover, resulting in a lively exchange of interdisciplinary and practice-oriented insurance research. At the institute, Dr. Damm's group also deals with health care research and is a member of CHERH.

Aufgrund der aktuellen Situation, bedingt durch das Coronavirus, müssen die HISSEMA und das GUEST-Programm in diesem Jahr leider abgesagt werden. Bewirb dich jetzt auf einen unserer Restplätze in einem anderen spannenden Land!

leider müssen aufgrund der besonderen globalen Situation durch das Coronavirus die HISSEMA und das GUEST-Programm in 2020 abgesagt werden.

Du möchtest trotzdem gerne ins Ausland? Dann nutze jetzt deine Chance und bewirb dich auf einen unserer Restplätze für das Akademische Jahr 2020/21.
